This Labour & Birth preparation class for couples  is a combination of tools and techniques which are combined to enable mums to reduce stress, fear and, anxiety during pregnancy and also help to reduce pain and fear in labour. No matter what type of birth you are planning, whether a water birth, a natural birth with or without an epidural or a planned C-section Gentle Birth & Hypnobirthing techniques are a must to remain calm and have a positive birth experience.

The techniques include breathing techniques, acupressure, self hypnosis, mindfulness , sports psychology, the use of essential oils, best positions and pain management techniques.

  GentleBirth also offer an App which you can download to your phone for daily practice of mindfulness, self hypnosis and confidence building techniques.

 The GentleBirth workshop is a  antenatal class with your birthing partner.

GentleBirth workshops are  not like other antenatal classes .     This workshop is for parents who want to be actively involved in decision making and prefer to have an understanding of what choices are available for them during labour and birth in Irish hospitals  The focus is preparing  you for the most positive birth possible, no matter what comes your way on the big day. the workshop provides you with a roadmap to a positive birth.  Whether birth is drug free, with an epidural or a c section having the skills to remain calm and focused  is invaluable.  Birth partners learn in a relaxed atmosphere how to support their partner and how to work as a team to have an amazing birth experience.  All  antenatal  information is up to date and evidence based.
